The ancients always argued over UMS and Melee maps, now war is waging over the discussion over UMS and Melee. You decide the outcome of SEN.
This will the fisrt melee map here at SEN, I will start tomorow and I expect to finish it on the same day.
Map size: 128x128
Players: 6
Terrain: Snow
Resources: Lots
Bases: 13(6 main, 6 expansions, 1 uber expansion)
The Terrain will be suggested for 3v3 games with plenty of minerals, not as much as money maps but more than Lost Temple. The Minimap will be half snow and half grass representing different ideas separated by ice. In the middle will be the island witht he most minerals. The island will be hard to control but if you control it you have a good shot at winning.
BTW: SP or Yoshi will Melee get it's own forum?
BTW2: Some of you know I can't play SC, well I fixed my PC and I instaleed it today.

Personally, it wouldn't be much nessessary... I'm gonna see with Yoshi if we can get the rating system going so mucho comments can come in.

Read the news posts my friend, its all about the New Melee section; maybe have links to all current "Pro-Maps" around, because i think people should have easy access to those as well. Maybe link to them from SCL?

I like the idea of your melee map...
In regards to the seperat forums...
All yoshi woudl need to do is add another forum and title it Melee MapShowcase. And he would have to change The otherone to UMS MapShowcase...
Since melee mappers wouldn't really need an assistance forum because all they need to do is make terrain.

Why are you posting an Idea thread for a MELEE map? It isn't something terribly hard to make. You don't have triggers or locations or anything to mess with. Honestly.

Hey guys i talked to yoshi about making a Melee forum and his response was no, he basically said that there was no need for a melee forum, what would you ask how to place a startlocation and place minerals? i didnt think of a showcase forum at the time so maybe he will change his mind, i dont know, gj with the first SEN Melee map sounds kool, will you give it a special name to signify that it is a sen map? something like the fastest names or something i dont know just curious
