I guess you can almost use this for any rpg.

Basic Idea
Alright, you have Mech (Goliath) that has 100 HP, starts out with 10% HP, you get select what engine you put in. Say its ATX 500, adds 15% Extra HPs, decreases speed to mech (heavy engine) While ATX 350, adds say 5% to 10% HPs, but adds no extra real weight to mech. Then you have weapons, selected from, one Close Range, one Medium & one Long. Weapon Melee weapon on, no weight, Medium adds 1 - 3 units under it, Long Range adds alot of weight. Also Once you have selected weapon have select special abilites your mech can do. 1 - 2 specials. Also get 3 - 5 stat points add to your mech, Add Armor, Add HP 2% per up, also can add stat points on speed will subtract how many units get put under your mech, Stat points add dmg to your weapons, Mech doesn't have damage, edit in Scmdraft give it 0 dmg, so all you weapons do all work. Also weapons have ammo. Melee weapons have 0 because they don't use anything other then energy. Unless you going add power enegry to mech then i guess dont worry about this one. Your Medium carries 150 to 300, Long Range has 10 to 30. You maybe thinking Mech has Low hp? Well enemies not too strong, around 3 - 8 HP's with 2 - 6 dmg so pretty easy battle. I guess that's all I can think of at this point time. Now for your comments on the idea.
