Okay, lets have a debate.

I'll define the moot:
For the affirmitive: That how adolescents and young adults carry on and live their life is too simple in modern society worldwide.
For the negative: That how adolescents and young adults carry on and live their life is more difficult in modern day society worldwide.

I'll start.

Negative-
I disagree with my own moot, because people may think youth are getting less school work, well they aren't - and their life are not just about education. Other infulential factors are drugs, crime rate, homosexuals, competitive society, unemployment, student loan interest rate up, poverty, health problems and many more.

I say neygatory, get it, ney like no and gatory. I meant negative. The violence and druge usage levels are much higher than the past. The crime rate has gone much higher. There is a decline in morals among teenagers. The school keeps raising the requirements, which is just making everything worse. The higher requirements stress students and teens out and make them care less about school. It just keeps getting worse. Schools back then required much less out of students.

In conclusion, teenage life is interesting, far too easy, and anyone who listens to rap for more than 6 months before realizing it's crap and moving on with their lives needs to be shot in the face.

You see a teenager.
You: "Hey, do you think life sucks compared to, say, 50 years ago?"

Teenager: "Omg stfu duh it's worse life sucks we have to do schoolwork teachers are idiots I'm the only teenager that's depressed like this and the rest are just pussies that don't know

."

I look at myself...
Sure, life sucks...
But I also understand that, for the most part, it's my own goddamned fault.
And sicne it's mainly my fault, I can't really blame my life being 'hard'(which it's not) on the year I was born.

Uh, affirmative. In our society, just about everybody's basic needs are met (food, shelter, community, etc.). When the most basic of needs are met we move on to another secondary set of needs, which are based around comfort. If you have time to sit down and play a video game like StarCraft, you have nothing to whine about.

Affirmative. Our lives are pretty damn easy. School isn't hard...at all. You are a screw up if you fail/drop out. All you have to do is not act like an ass and pay attention. How hard is that? It's not. Life is as hard as you make it. There are always options. People say teens have alot to worry about. Laf!! What do we have to worry about? The big test on friday? Not having money for college? Not finding a job? HA! Theres always money for college. Theres always jobs. Oh and by the way, drugs are for losers. People dont take drugs only because they want to escape their problems. They take them because they want to get high. Legalize weed? LMFAO! Salacaious you go ahead and do your drugs and be a

up. Ill get good grades, get into a great school and have a great life, and have fun while im at it...because life if a walk in the park.

I do hate people who say don't complain because you aren't a starving person and what not. Obviously if your basic needs are met then you are going to move on to that second set of needs as someone pointed out. Then you can complain about those needs until they are better, since those needs can be improved too. Not that they are really needs, but wants. Wants can be improved as much as needs.
