The Map team is the group of people who reveiw the maps submitted to the database, I didn't request to be on it.

My rank which is the Database keeper is for people who keep the Tutorials database up to date. Nozomu is also a Database keeper. He is my assistant 
The map team is then for people to help Isolated review the maps that get submitted to SEN.
So yea, we need them. Also there was a post about map teams earlier and a lot of people requested to be part of the team.

ok boys and girls heres alittle update for you, NeoNightmare you were not on the list to be voted for because that list is comprised of the people that are online alot, they are respected and known in the community, being a good mapper helps and also maturity played a role. so basically that list of people that you can vote for is more or less the "semi-finalists". if you wanted to be on the map making team you would need to atleast put in a request here is a link: http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=6495 . if you read what was in that thread it says that isolated does not want to be spending alot of his time reviewing maps for people when there are more important things he can be doing, so really hes just "sharing the load" as sam wise gamgi would say (i dont know how to spell hobbit names.)
