I think that the human race will be extinct sometime during our lifetime. I think nuclear war is inevitable.

WE will get extinct some time or another. Just like the dinosaures. Either global warming kills us all. we get sucked into some thing and we all die. Nuclear Warfare like above. Or the ice in the North pole melts and floods kill us all. Or we can also die from starvation cause the crops wont grow. We will porbably die in about 1-2 billion years or 1-2 million year. Anywyas g2g eat.

Think about that for a while...

The world started in 1,000 A.D.? either that was a big typo or you better check your facts

1,000 A.D.= 1000 Anno Domony, (for those of you that dont speak Latin that is "in the year of our Lord")

A.D. is centered around the birth of Jesus Christ, so 1 A.D. is supposed to be when Jesus was born, (althought the system is off by about 3 years, it was developed looong ago)

1,000 B.C.= 1000 Before Christ, (im sure you all can figure that one out)

B.C. is also centered around the birth of Jesus Christ, but instead of counting from then on, we count from then back

Now, judgeing from all of the historical documents, id estimate the earth was created about 10,000-25,000 B.C.

although thinking of that... for when the earth started, time was not before... time was after... God created time... he can bend time at his will... all of reality has never happened... all of reality has already happened... is there time in the afterlife of heaven or hell... or is it all just an image, a mirage...

you know... there are 3 main things that could kill us all.
1. (most liable to happen) an asteroid comes to earth, and kills us

2. The sun blows up and kills us all ( if the human race is really that dumb, we would have gotten off this planet by billion years...)

3. we get invaded by aliens ( i personaly don't think that will happen)


but seriously, if any of us humans where smart enugh, you guys would figure out that we have no choice but to get off this planet. some of our recorcese are allready starting to get low. by staying on this planet, its like sitting on a small island, WAITING for sunami to wipe us off the island, and drown us. think about that. now, if we inhabit mars, we double our chances of surviveing, because if earth gets blown out of the universe, we still have mars. but hopefully, by the time we GET to mars, we would allready have a planetary defene system...

Anyway, several of you people seem to think it's "When will humans die off?"
It's when will the world be destroyed, not humans die off.
And I have no ing guess as to when Earth will be obliterated.

By the time it does happen, we wont care, we will be in what ever our religion (or there lack of) donotes

People who think we are all gona die by nuclear winter or whatever are just dumbasses, Humans have been thinking that the world is gona end since ancient times.

My hoomroom teacher said that they were worried about Global Cooling, now science has pulled Global Warming outa their ass. Nuclear war will never be used on a large scale (at least not for a while anyways)

I'm not kidding. It's not going to flood the entire world (mountains and stuff will be safe), but all the places close to sea level are f-cked.

My dads friend's hobbie is to study the stars, etc.. and he told me about it. At first I thought he was crazy. Then I realized he's so crazy that it must be true.

How'd you get flooding from stars then?

I've got no recollection of the details of our conversation. If you would like me to find out more, I will. Scientists have figured out down to a millisecond when this is going to start happening. It's not just going to flood all of a sudden. It could take days, weeks, or even months. I just know that I'm not going to be buying any property close to sea level.
