well i found this site when a map maker recommend StarForge for map makin as i want or try to make some Def games ^_^ anyways i downloaded SCM and it has a folder named SCMtoolkit well when i clicked to open ScmToolKit.exe it gave me a error 
it says Can't load (or register) custom control: 'COMDLG32.OCX'
so im wonderin if i can download this file anywhere.. as i dunno where it is on this site.. if it is on this site.

If that file is on this site i think it would be located here: http://staredit.net/index.php?dlcategory=24
though, i don't think it is in there. Maybe you are installing it wrong? Does it have to be in the starcraft directory? Have you tried a google search for the file?

Just put the file that you needed into
C:\Windows\System
or
C:\Windows\System32
or
C:\WINNT\System
or
C:\WINNT\System32
depending on which OS you have. If you have a Mac, then I can't help you with this ;\

(cept linux does kinda suck right now in the gaming standpoint since there arent many games for linux)

That's the only reason I use Winblows 98 instead.
If I could play UT2004, WC3 FT, and SC on my mom's Linux, then I'd have Linux installed as soon as I could...
I haven't used Linux much, but I already know I like it more.
