It has a bug in the Y Coordinates but otherwise it works fine.
Could someone fix the bug?

What did you change other than that resulting spam from the new coordinates? I don't know why you would need to advertise to the player where he or she is like that, but still I see where you were going with it and good job.

Your right its not usefull but, the knowleage he gains from making this map can be applied to much greater things. Why do you think i do stuff like make a bound with one location.

Spamming the coordinates helped me learn where/what the bug was.
It also helped you understand what was happening everytime you move tongue.gif

I like it, itd be good for like a battle ship map or something tongue.gif And alot of other great maps that Im too lazy to think of right now. Anywho, one thing I notied, is that he doesnt like to walk in straight line to get to where I tell him to go. He goes diagnoly or goes down then diagnol then left confused.gif Not sure why but, just thought Id let ya know. wink.gif

This is from the terrain level changes. This happens in bounds when people make the terrain level different. I hate it but I was too lazy to change it because this is only a concept map tongue.gif

Yes, Bolt is a genius, but don't give him too much credit otherwise it will go to his head... which is coincidentally filled with bolts... new recipe for greatness? Bolts in the head?

Oh man can you tell that I am stoned?

-.- Pun, eh?

sad.gif On a much more serious matter, read his avatar caption, or whatever you want to call it.

After all the genius stuff... he's RETIRING! cry.gif Oh why oh why cruel universe...

I don't know why you made this, it's more complicated and with more triggers. You could have done it without switches without adding all this other junk.

Actually, it uses the same number of triggers yours does...
It's not very complicated, you can take out the point location and have the triggers center the [X] New and [Y] New on the Zlot.

I haven't seen this coordinate map but i have played bolts and i was wondering if a system like this can be used to 'conserve locations'. For example in my rpg Dark Times you can talk to everyone and as you can imageine i am dangerously close to max locations and i'm not even 20 percent done. I don't think its possible but can i move locations to civilians by using their position on the map?

Oryoucould just have one location around the hero, and use it to interact with everything...duh. For example, a 2x2 location around your hero, always centering.

Guy brings a civ to Hero Location:

Play the speech or message or what have you.

Ez as that.

Using My corrdinate system? Uhh yeah but you don't want to go there, Heck I don't want to go there. Mine uses over a hundred locations in the first place. To make it actually SAVE locations would be insaine.

The differance between the coordinate systems is that the one featured here and Salacious's coordinate system detects a units location on the map (actually it detects there movement, and compairs it to its already known location)

My Coordinate maps on the other hand is compleatly differant form this. It takes already known coordinates and moves a location to that spot. I thought about making it into a graphing calculator and belive it or not its not THAT far fetched. All i got to do is add a cauculator and set it up to plot answer and repeat. Maybe i should be like tux, heimdal and all those cool people and made a calculator map and then integrate it into my Coordinates map.

I wonder how long it would take to do all that lol.

You want to make graphs? Ok, i'll ask you to make me this graph

tan*x = 2cos*x

0 < x < 360
Report, edit, etc...Posted by BeeR_KeG on 2004-11-03 at 18:00:03
Coko don't make it so difficult, I know that that graph is insane to put in there.

Make something simpler like:

-2|2x+3|^3
Report, edit, etc...Posted by .Coko[CK] on 2004-11-03 at 18:22:37
tan*x = sin*x/cos*x

therefore

sin*x/cos*x = 2cos*x

sin*x = 2cos(2)*x

cos(2)*x = (1-sin(2)*x)

sin*x = 2 - 2sin(2)*x

2sin(s)*x + sin*x - 2 = 0

sin*x = x

2x(2) + x - 2 = 0

(x+2)(x-1) = 0

sin*x = -2, or , 1

x = sin(-1)(-2)
or
x = sin(-1)(1)

Now you can do some equations.
