That Fun ! Try all the units u can put in the ID in StarForge, i tested some, for fun, here are the best ones :

ID : 778
Appear On StarForge : Shuttle
Description : obs (small vision (1square), crash when select, not detecting and seem like not cloaked,got a shadow)

ID : 2008
Appear On StarForge : Buged Rock Sprite
Description : zergling (can be used for "rain" horizontal effect, provide 65 protoss supply, crash when select)

ID : 2724
Appear On StarForge : Ultralisk cave
Description : map reaveler?? (1square viewing,provide about 128 zerg supply and consume about 80 of it, crash when select (nothing))

ID : 9999
Appear On StarForge : Scourge
Description : seems to be a 1square enabled fog of war o_o

the 2008 is good for protoss supply, but that "rain" and crash effect censored.gif it...
If you got good units, plz post them here tongue.gif

IMO, anything that will "Crash on Select" is worthless unless you keep it hidden from view completely.

All units above ID 228 will crash on click. Find a unit that is either cloaked or not clickable. The unit can be moved.

There was a thread on this previously, the effort to test all units above 228 was scrapped because they all crashed.

I'm sure some units will really be cool and that zergling can be useful when u dont have your own vision (like some defence) when u got vision of map reavelers from comp.
i'll make with 3 buged gling, already 195 units max supply for protoss, dont make 30 pilons wink.gif

778:
Race: Zerg (Drone)
Portrait: Protoss Cosair
Wireframe: Terran Marine
Elevation: Underground
Affected by spells: Most

2008:
Race: Protoss?
Portrait: Unknown
Wireframe: Unknown
Elevation: Very High? (Shadow is above air)
Affected by spells: Most, Recall first brings to horizontal center of map, second Recall sends past edge of map?
Notes: Can load units? (Loaded a air unit on first try). Can be attacked from high range's?
HP: Very high hp or very high armor

Click on another unit, the shift + click the other unit.

And I would recommend you don't go any further if you're researching. I went from 228 - 2000+ with no decent results.

I should probably send in the list, so people can mess around with sc.

Well I supose there are some one's that might come in handy, like:
(Tested on Badlands 128x128)
6178-Picture: Nothing
-Spells: Affected by recall (crash if viewed when recalled)
-Notes: Cloak's unit's around it (like a arbiter)
6877-Picture: Nothing
-Race: Zerg (Plays the Zerg "We require more Vesphene gas." at start)
-Clickable: No
-Selectable: No
-Spells: Affected by Recall
-Notes: Create's a non stop "You can't build there." message and mini-map ping unless killed

If only there was a quicker was of destroying 6877 (Used 3 Storm's).

Checking all the properties of alot of units is about the most boring thing you can do.
Ive done a lot of them and i only found 2 that did anything interesting.
One was the long range shooting (#2008) and some other one that you can consume without killing it. (and any player can consume it no matter who's it is)

But they all crash when clicked on... They are only useful if you can use them while hidden from the players view, like 2008, it makes a nice visual effect.

Because those units aren't suppose to exist. They only exist by leeching off of seemingly random SC files and having strabge effects. The units are units that don't exist, but are forced into the game. Blizzard didn't intend for all those units to be in the game.

If someone compiles a list of known information on these units that don't normally exist in StarCraft, I'll post it in the new Tutorials database. There's already a tutorial on unit 2008. It's called "Make a unit shoot across the whole map" I think.
