I Do believe in God. I was born, raised in a religious way. That's all i have to say.

I believe there is a higher being that created the universe but i also believe in evolution.

I say we lock this topic down. Why does it matter what we believe in? Theres obviously people of many and various religions, and then therell be people who question that.

To share our views.


Then we need to celebrate out unique differences.

I am raised in a religious family. All my cousins, family, siblings are all buddhist. However they live in Taiwan, and my parents sent me here in New Zealand. Which influences me with Chritianity. I am going to a Catholic school... however, for me right now I am not convinced that there is a God. Nonetheles... I'm not offended if I was under pressure of religion or being included in a Christian group such as a Church. I just believe God is just there to give people faith and guidance. And yep, I believe in Natural Selection - because if makes sent from the start to the end.

i do belive in god, but i am not religeous.
i simply think he is out there watching over us 'n all that.

and did u know that there is no bible thing that says we are supposed to go to church. so dont bother its just some stupid humans that made it up

My views on god may be slightly... different than the average persons. I award "god points" to people for doing something awesome. The more awesome the act, the more points are awarded. Every now and then i reset the god points. Who ever has the most, is god.

It does say in the bible that you should "meet with fellowship *not exact words ...*" Meaning that you should meet with other christians, AKA go to church/sundayschool/BSF (bible study fellowship)...

I think someone who is a deist is the only kind of person with a religion that can still understand the point of views of an athiest. Everyone else is just too blinded by their own religion.

but some of them are sort of like "cousins" like Christianity (which I am cause i believe in God) , Judaism, and Islam all derived from the Middle East, all are monotheistic, and all use many people in their books, like Abraham and Moses but somewhere along the line of time, many people lost what religion really was....salvation and hope in their creator

Ok, I think that we are all paying a game called life created by God at his giant casino in the sky and humans are his buddies. We got bored having everything and playing bingo and Starcraft so we asked God to create a game. He did, and called it Life. It took place in a make believe world called Earth and we are all players. After we die we go back up and get points for accomplishments in our life and they tally it up to see who the most successful person is in the game of Life. You get points not only for good deeds but wacky deeds like, say, stealing all the Oscars in the world. The best part is that the observers of the game can use their points to but "powers" to cause lightning, horrible bad luck and other stuff. They can also bet on who gets more points in life and yadadada, etc. So our lives are all just a game in God's giant casino in the sky. Yep....

Should not believe in after life in my religion but, I do. Don't really know why but I think we do because then Heaven/Hell will be too crowded

God is real and you cannot convince me otherwise. However there are some limited evloutions that also occur. These are not the same as a human coming from a monkey. These are just adaptations like the differences among crocadiles and allagators, they are obviously very similar but each has adapted to its own environment. Those that didnt adapt died. This is the natural selection that was mentioned earlier. But natural selection is not evolution. Algae is still algae and it will never develope a brain. As for Reever, if you dont believe in a higher being, dont slam others by saying that the Bible was written by some "guy wacked out from drugs" I think that those that don't believe in God are actually just scared to put their lives into someone's hands that they cannot see. Hypothetically speaking, even if there was no higher being, at least we tried. What happens to aethiests after they die? Do they get reincarnated? How? Why dont we have any memories of our past lives? However with a faith in God you definately go to one of two places: Heaven, eternal paradise, or Hell, eternal pain, suffering and sorrow. I would rather be certain in my faith of what happens after I die than be completely in the dark.

All the bad things in the world are from the players buying "power" cards and casting them about the world. It spices things up a bit for if nothngi like that ever happened we might as well stay in the casino...

Besides, it is impossible for humans to go to heaven. Why bother trying?

Oh yes, every human has its purpose. Bad people, to make others learn from their mistakes, or they are bad cuz of free will. God made us have free will because if he would make us all the same and do everything we tell him to do, what real love is there? There is only force. That's why he made us with free will. Why did he make evil? Because greater love comes from evil, and we can learn from our mistakes and be a better person. About the free will thing, think about it: What would you treasure more: Something you worked hard for, or something you got for free?

ummm, Jesus is the SON of God, im Roman-Catholic too but i dont go to church every sunday, my dad hates priests ever since our old one got caught stealing money from our old church *shakes fist at robbing priest* and wats an agnostic?

i dont believe in God because...

1. I feel like im not in control of my life in a religion
2. I do not like to live by restrictions of a religion
3. I do not believe that he is super- human from scientific data

I was not born in a very religious family. Only my cousins were religious. I havent been to church or CCD in about 3 or 4 years. I do believe that someone like him did exist though. I am Christian although i dont believe in any religions.
