Well guys, clan aEp is back, The leader didn't have his computer so it got hacked and it was gone for a few days but its back now and I would like to request a aEp Board (Liked (U)'s Board) if you want to see our site its at http://www.clanaep.cjb.net

I don't keep up with clans, so I don't know aE. Are you a map making clan or something? I see you require maps upon recruitment, but I don't see anything else talking about maps.

You have a forum on your board, out of curosity, why would you want one here?

Edit: Fierce, this was the perfect forum for such a request. Maybe I should rename the forum "Talk to the admin" and people would actually start posting bugs / site ideas that are directed at me instead of random places like in garbage where I MIGHT stumble across them.

Just because we gave (U) a forum doesn't mean we have to give you one. Especially considering I don't remember playing any famous "aE" maps recently. Also, if I recall correctly, WE asked (U) if they wanted a board, not the other way around.

Might as well keep your current website and stick with it? What is the point of

aEp isn't nearly stable enough to have their own board. Not to mention Their recruiting standards are non-existent. You don't have to be an actual map maker, just say you are.

I'm not the one who is supposed to say this but:
To get your own board at SEN you must prove yourselves first.

yea, i mean like sal said, if you don't even have moderatly hihg recruiting standards and don't base a pretty well sized part of your clan on maps (like (U) does) then we don't think we are "privlage enough to allow an aEp board on SEN"[/sarcasm] at least prove to us (like beer said) why you want your own board

I don't remember playing any famous (U) maps recently either ;o Well, perhaps math's Swat thing, but that was only a 2 time thing because it was sooooo easy

Ok a few things:

#1. We do have recuriting standards...The leader of the clan just spent a while re-evaulating every member and some of them didn't even make it back into aEp cause they had no new maps that were worthy.

#2. The leader didn't ask for it b/c he prolly didn't have the idea too. This was my idea not his and if he would have thought of it he would have done it himself.

#3. Just because our maps arn't famous doesn't mean their not good...For example "Dodge the rapist" is a pretty famous map...but it sucks...the guy probably spend 1 hour on it. So are you saying that if the person who made Dodge the rapist wanted his clan on here you would do it?

#4. aEp is an advanced map making clan and we are fairly new. Many good map makers have joined this clan, and probably in the near future you will see some of our maps. And also there arn't that many famous (U) maps anyway.

If you ask me I think any decent map making clan, with active members, Good map makers, is just as good as clan (U). So what our clan lost its channel for a few days because the bots were offline and it got attacked. Now its back! (U) almost died and u didn't reject them...(U) does not have all the best map makers, I know many map makers that are way better than the (U) members, just because ur not in (U) doesn't mean ur not good! So I do think that if (U) clan has the right to have a bored on ur site then our clan deserves to have one too.

PS. Our message bored on the site...Well it was made by the old webmaster and it look horrible, i ment to change the link to it, but i was gonna check to see if stareidt would let us have a bored on here also first.

And by the way if we must "Prove ourselves worthy" then im sure we could do it no problem...

look at the 5th post down, its Yoshi_da_Sniper's post, he says, and i quote


Yoshi_da_Sniper, was a fan of (U) and if you don't know who that was, he was the first admin, and creator of this website, they are one of the reasons he kept on mapping, so he WANTED them to join, the famous maps was a plus to that

well i say (U) maps are just the same as a regular old map that some normal map maker could make. the house of the haunted for instance, i could make that within 4 days. just because Yoshi liked (U) doesnt mean he didnt like other clans. all the clans look up to Yoshi's standards, and clans say i want to be just like him. (U) is just like a regular clan. anyone can make a map the same way they could. some are just to lazy and dont want to do it. so i say (U) isnt the greatest clan.

We aren't a site dedicated to hosting other clans. As far as I see it, (U) was the only exception. At least post some maps for us.

You may want to also take into account that aE has died once before. Draxxus (creator of aE) was the one who started [T], killed it, started aE, killed it, started [T] again, killed it, started [TwS], killed it, joined [V] with his [T] guys, left it, started aE again, killed it (unless his absense is due to a lack of a computer - but then again that is what more than 1 leader is for), and then 2 days ago aE was back.

Now I have nothing against my Draxxie-poo, but his clans have a tendency to not survive all that long, whereas (U) is one of the first map making clans and is still alive and kicking.

Even Oo. has lasted longer than most map making clans out these days, but we don't ask for any forums (and then again we are going through some crazy tmes now).

P.S. idoL is in aE. Does anyone else recall him stating that he quit the map making community forever?

Ok guys dont go flaming aEp just say "no" and leave it at that. I had a hard time getting into aEp and I know they're a good map making clan, no need to say bad things about them. Anywho if you REALLY need some forums I have a domain and the option to create GOOD forums, just PM me I'll host it.

And when EviL just asked me to join (and Draxxus did earlier), you immediately said "no!" I suppose it may be hard, even though I was just asked to join and Draxxus has never actually seen any of my maps.

Anyways, yeah, go with idoL's plan. I think the real reason they want a forum here is because it would bring in a lot of activity - because no one ever actually uses clan forums.

Hey Devlin, I'm sure you're a good map maker if Draxxus asked ya to join, you could probly come in, but you're in Oo I doubt you'd join us. Anywho, Devlin, if me and VoidArchon can make up and be friends I think you and I can too. =)
