I don't know if this belongs in the garbage forum... anyways, I think if a child has done something seriously wrong, he/she should be spanked.

Spanking is so unoriginal. Make them do work. Or sleep in the garage.

i think they should for some things, but others not so, when they do something pretty bad, like punch another kid, they should, but when they like beat the living crap out of someone, they shoudl get worse, but if they do something wrong thats not very bad, they should be like "time-out" or w/e the heck its called, just discipline them to the best of your abilities

Anyways, I think if the child does something bad the FRIST time you should tell them that they did something wrong blah blah. If they do it again, yell at them and threaten that if they do it again you he/she will get a severe punishment.\

Don't think you should spank on the first time they do somehting bad.

Thats the only real option here, since its all a matter of how a parent raises his or her child. Personally, Im against spanking; there are many other ways to punish a kid that doesnt require any form of hitting them.

i do hit kids, like my little cousins when they arent behaving or wont listen to me, i dont spank, i give them corndogs (where i shove my knee up the butthole), punch him in the arm, smack him in the back of the head, or any other form of *cracks knuckles* punishment, just for annoying me

Well, when I was young my parents didn;t spank me much but attacked me with a feather duster. I cried a lot. But it made me who I am today: SMART! Oh, and because they kicked me outta the house when I said I didn't want to go to school in kindergarten so I always did my work after that. The good ole days.....

I didn't start not liking school until around 5th grade...

And I believe spanking is okay.
So would going back to using sticks to punish students in school.

I mean, the reason punishments are used is to discourage people from doing things they're not supposed to.

Here's an example:
Let's say you're a 10 year old, and you get in trouble.
You can
A) Get a quick slap across your hands with a stick or ruler or something
or
B) Stay after school for a couple hours

Which will you choose?

Spanking is unoriginal. Give them a backhand slap across the face. Be sure to snap your wrist just before contact to give it a nice stinging effect. Then you don't have to touch their dirty little ass or do that much work. Plus it's fun to beat your kids. And they deserve it. If your kids aren't afraid of you, you're not doing your job as a parent.

Spanking (I consider it: punishment involving pain) works.

If a child is 2 years old and he does something hes no supposed to, rase your voice at him/her. Children dont like that. If that does not work, grab his/her arm/hand and lightly wrench it (as to not seriously injure him/her). If that doesnt work... uhh... i forget but it depends on the situation...

When i was little, i was required to do stuff on my own, AKA open things or get them myself. When i got older, i had a time to be home from my friends house and if i wasnt, my time was lowered by an hour to be at their house the next day. I did not like that so i didnt stay late...
Even further down my age line, i would get bad grades (aka a C and some b's) so my game time on nintendo was limited to 1/2 hour a day. And even later, it was completely abolished.

This enviroment was great for raising me, i dont like being yelled at so i obey, and i may be a wuss but i get things done that i need to get done...

Its alright but il go wiht moose make them work or sleep in the gargrage.
