Okay, here's a scenario.
You've finished the dishes and are taking a well-deserved break. You switch on the tele and settle on the sofa. You grab a rich delcious chocolate biscuit and about to sink you teeth into it.
Then there she is, rite in the tele... you media nemesis.
She's tall with big breasts, long hair, sleek teeth, everything about her is emaciated. She's selling a beauty product.
Already feeling guilty enough sitting down in the first place eating a big blob of fat... then comes the 'perfect body' to put u off even more.
How many kilos can you lose indulging in your sofa?
Everyone in real life now is being pressurised to conform with the society, usually because of stereotype, media, peers, latest fashion etc. otherwise you will not be accepted in our community.
We are brought up to think what we look like determines who we are, and as easy as you mite say "no matter what we look like, we are still beautiful"... while this may sound good... 10 minutes later you look in the mirror and see a pimple under ur chin and you started using all the pimple cream ever known to man-kind to try and eradicate it.
Why do we always wear our best dress, make sure our teeth is smiling at the rite angle, and make sure our hairs are brushed to the side before an interview? Human instincts I guess... because if you look huge and different, it automatically puts someone looking at u in a defensive position
We wear make-up to cover our inpurities... but how may it make us different?
Remember people, life is not a beauty contest.
