i have noticed something about the new administration (isolated purity) this is feedback and not a bug, i have noticed that staredit is not down as much as before, i remember when Yoshi_da_Sniper was the administrator, that the site would be up a day or two, then it would be down for like three days and the same thing would happen again and again, does anyone know why the site was down a lot (curious)? this is just to compliment the good job the administrator is doing keeping the site up

Wasn't the server changed to a more stable one? I'm pretty sure Yoshi did that a little bit after SEN got hacked.

You're dreaming. SEN has always been up, except for hosting problems.
The only other thing I can see is that he might have been messing up with PHP everywhere (which Isolated still didn't start doing much, yet, I believe).

Uh... Yoshi likes his forum a lot and modified it many times to perfect it. Then he started on his v4 and editted that a lot. I guess IP doesn't put the site down to edit the main parts that we use right now. He's only working on the map reviews and stuff for right now I think...

I have no idea how that progress bar works.
I do now that isolated is working on the Map Reviews section so that the Map team can formally start reviewing maps. The reviews section has some parts that work already but there is still some work to be done.
Yoshi was always modifying the php codes and stuff to make the site better and there were always those damn hosting server problems.

Isolated hasn't really done a good job keeping it up. Whoever runs his server has. 
The Progress Bars were a piece of useless "Activity" info about each forum, one of Yoshi's last additions. (BTW, SEN was never really down. Just the Database. You could tell because www.staredit.net/moose/ still worked

how about base it all on me, i'm just that cool or an entire shrine about Yoshi, you two must have been best friends moose, i mean he did rank you the highest he could rank someone on the site, is it that or just because you knew how it works, if i want space, do i have to pay for it on SEN?

You would have to ask isolated about hosting.
As for /moose/ directory, it's just there. I got it for doing stuff here. I don't really use it that much... the main use is for storing the Map Tips and Tricks, which gets read off a file in there. I've had it for awhile but never really said anything. I just got tired of people saying "OMFG THE SITE SI DOWN!!!11ONE" when it really isn't. There's nothing database-related in there, so it's up when the site is up. If the site was ever TRULY down, that would be inaccessable as well.

Actually it IS the new server we are now hosted on. It all started in the IRC Channel...

Once isolated told the channel we were all relieved since synd][cate wasn't getting it. So then isolated started pursuing hosting plans that would best suit SEN's needs. He actually had signed up for this one plan and was already in the process of finalizing it when I told him to cancel it, it's a bad mistake. Truth is, the host isolated was going for was very unstable and unreliable and promised space that they couldn't handle. So I took it into my own hands to talk to someone I know on the IRC server from an old game I use to play (Tribes). I told him what SEN needed and he worked with me and isolated and we carved out our own plan that suited the site's needs. We were actually the first site on the server, and we got a really good deal.
So rejoice, we have a good server behind us.
