Back when I joined, I submitted a melee map called (4)Desert Choke. Back then, i had no knowledge of how to make a screen shot of the map. But now I do and im wondering how I could submit it so it appears on the map under the download section.
(sorry if i explained poorly)

The way you do that is under category when your submitting a map, Is sais Screen shot, You browse for your picture the wha la...You submit the map and the picture is there in then DLDB.


Or if you mean you already submitted one and you want to add a picture to the map, You go to "Edit Your Files" On the left hand side of the page, The when that screen comes up, You find your map..Click it, Then do what i said above.

You could just click edit your file and the map will show in a list of all maps you have submited and you can go and edit it.

You could post the screenshot here and a Map Team member will do it for you.

Hmm this reminds me, can someone do what Yoshi did and put a screenshot for all of the maps without them? There are tons there without a shot, and it helps to see the map before you decide to download it.

I have though a lot about that Devlin, but simply for me (I don't know about the other 3), I don't have that much time to get screenshots of every map without one. It's hard to get some spare time.

But I can say that during the Winter break thing, I will get everything done and maps will be approved within hours.

Damnit. If I only had a PC, I'd be willing to take shots of all the maps. Yes, I have tons of free time on my hands...

Isn't that your job? You volinteered for it.

If you don't submit a image the person who accepts the map is suppost to do it for you.

I would do it on the same time I approve the maps, but most times there are so many maps I just don't have time to do it.

I have school and practice so I usually get home at about 6 to do my homework and eat.

I barely have time.

Don't know about the other 3 Map Team though.

Who else is on it anyway?

I protected my map, so that's probly why they didnt do it.

There is no screenshot yet because no one has bothered to put it there. I just did all the screenshots and did everything to the Melee section, which is the part that needs them the most. The Melee section doesn't need any thouching.
I will try and do at least 1 section per day.

So what do you mean? You guys arent working on melee submissions? Or you just dont think that you need to clean up the melee section?

I meant that I completely cleaned the Melee section. It doesn't need anything else done because there isn't more to do. Everything is in order, place and has a screenshot.

I also did all the screenshots for Arena, Experimental and Melee Style(UMS).

Which program do you use to get those screen shots? Cause when you look at mine it doesnt show starting locations and minerals. Could you possibly update mine to look better?

Alright I just made a screenshot of every map in the DLDB.
There are about 30 maps that I could not get a screenshot out of them. I ask everyone to check all their submitions and see if one of those maps you sent don't have a screenshot.
You now have to post the screenshot by yourself, the administration has already tried posting it and we could not. The screenshots are now your responsibility.

Just a couple days ago, i just started reviewing maps and approving some UMS games, so sry if i was a bit inactive in the past; im ready and working now
