Right now, hovering the mouse over the title of a thread shows a tooltip saying something like (I think) "Created by so-and-so whenever".
In the interest of helping those browsing the forums to give help, I believe it would help everybody if the tooltip displayed the first 100 characters or so of the topic. Therefore, hovering the topic on a thread with the question something like:
"I need some help with my starcraft map because it crashes. The units are placed fine, and the triggers seem to work out. ect."
Would show a tooltip of "I need some helpwith my starcraft map because it crashes. The units . . ."
Of course, that example was shortened because I really don't want to make up an entire problem, I'm too lazy
There are currently "Topic Descriptions", but they don't really allow a lot of text to be typed without cluttering the screen. Having the initial part of the post included in the tooltip is efficent and comes up only when you want it to.
