Gun controll is illegal. It says so in one of the amendmants ( i forget which one), that we have the right to bear arms.

My uncle has have an AK-47, 3 9mm pistols, a magnum and a beretta and they haven't done anything to him and he uses them in outside whenever he wants.
The constitution states that anyone can bear any kind of weapon but there are restrictions on using them.

Isn't gun control restriction of gun use?
Anyways, my opinion is that it shouldn't matter. That we shouldn't need it.
But, despite that, we DO need to control gun usage. And so I think it should stay that way?

Why do you need to bear arms in a place that is peaceful?
Think of it this way:
Less guns, less innocent people killed. I hear things on the news like "Innocent 9 year old female gets shot in gang shootout". These things are sad and it's pathetic that 70+% of Americans are immature.

But, would you rather hear "9 year old shot, quick death due to shot in head" or "9 year brutally beaten, mutilated, sliced, a slow agonizing death"? If someone's going to kill someone, its going to happen either way. So long as it is ONLY used properly and responsibly, its fine. But, since most Americans couldn't even understand what that means, restrict it. Guns + Brains = good. Guns + Idiots = death. When the Bill of Rights was written, there were no explosive guns or automatics. People had brains back then. Now, I don't really think that applies.

Meh, i wouldnt mind a M-16 to use for sporting reasons and at target ranges, but guns get be bought waaay to esay ove rin the US. I mean, i though places like Ammu-nation in the GTA seris were fake, but i recently learned that they exist

I think that it should be forbidden in everycountry to have a gun without training, etc. There are lots of guys who are most of the time 'normal' but are sometimes strest or something and start shooting everyone, and that's NOT good....

unfortunately its our nature to be violent, american or not. Making a law that says "you need training to own a gun" is not effective....wouldnt criminals just get that training? The only way to stop gun violence is to ban guns from the world, including armed forces.....and that wont happen. I think its a human being's right to own a weopon. I know u think im dumb for saying that, but im not talking about assault weopons. Ofcourse assault weopons are the guns people are worried about, but any gun can kill. The ban on assault weopons that expired doesnt make a difference because when the ban was in place, all the gun producers did was change around the way the gun looked. They litterally just changed the way the gun looked and it would no longer be classified as an assault weopon. Sadly the problem is more drug dealers who we should be worried about. Gun violence is almost always drug related.

Any automatic or semiautomatic weapon with a large magazine designed for military applications, regardless of appearance, is considered an assault weapon. Just thought I'd like to point that out.

My stance on gun control is that all handguns and automatics should be banned for home use, but able to be bought at a firing range, where they keep it in a safe until you come to the range.
Then you can use it to shoot paper targets!
