For those of you who dont know. An ai editor allows you to make triggers that basically controlls the build order of computers. I have searched long and hard for a decent ai editor that i could use for a map that i am making. unfortunately i have been unable to find one. Ai editors could make maps a lot more fun, because then you can make the computer do things such as attack certain units first or build units to make the game more of a challenge. If someone builds an ai editor that is similar to sc X-tra editor that would be AWESOME!

The problem with it, is that, you cannot play the map with someone else unless their comp has the same AI.

There is a perfectly easy to use AIscipt .bin editor called SCAIedit. However, since Computer AI is not part of the .chk scenario file (it is in the game engine) you can't mess with it unless you load a MOD. The reason you can select and run scripts is all the scripts you see are hard-coded into the game, and the mpa just calls on them. MODs are patched .mpq files, and cannot be played on Battle.net unless all players are running the same patched .mpq.

well this is like saying a map editor that tells the computer to make the maps do stuff eh. well this goes on like what fatal-kid said "map maker that makes maps"
its simply not possible and going on with DT BattleCruiser the other persons computer have to have all the patches and MODS so its simply not possible
