Well,
I was thinkin'.. If you used hyper triggers and made it so that when a player's unit or a unit reaches 0 hp for it to heal back to full health if it would show the death animation but ressurect him.. But that I mean Death animation is about to start but the trigg stops it. Well anyways if anyone toys with this is and founds out somethin neat tell me, it'd be much appreciated.

You might ask why I am not tryin this myself.. Well for one I'm at a comp without SC -.- so I couldn't test it if I wanted. But, I'll try it out later

Um that won't work because once the death animation starts, there is no going back. Also there is no trigger that will help you heal the unit back all the way when it reaches 0 hp.

Actually, it is possible with limited numbers, just have a centre location of the unit, and if it suddenly isn't there you know its dead, and just have something which can count how much health it had, or levels and then recreate at that location.

Well,
actually I meant not actually Creating a new unit...
I do believe there is a trigger that has modified unit hp, and you'd stack the 0 with the reseting to full health, I don't know I'll look at it later I got start workin on my map/help my friend. So..

Once its at 0 (unless it was preplaced with 0 and the SF 0/0 hp), it disappears and a unit death sprite is created in its place for the death. You can add the HP, until it gets to 0 when you are screwed.

Ah, well so much for that idea. I guess this post is dead, unless anyone has anythin' else that might relate to this.

Anyone?

I didn't think so -.-

As Coko said, you can fake it with fancy trigger work, but the action to complete the death runs before a trigger would, so your idea would not work.

Well, I don't want it faked, I was jus' explorin' the possibilities... -.-
To see if you could reverse it or not..

If you could, I bet many people would have done it before.

Imagin a dead body all of a sudden coming back together....

Take a unit. Set its HP to 100%, Preserve Trigger, add Hypers.
Place another unit with an attack greater than the original unit's HP.
That unit is still dying, boy. tongue.gif
