Hello,
I had a forum up that I cannot Dl maps from here, SEN. There were responses for a little but after a while no one responded to It anymore and now it seems to have been deleted or something... but I still can't dl maps from here..
When I Dl maps from here It dls me something called Index.php and when I open It it opens "Microsoft Picture It" or something.
I didn't find any site that reacted the same way until now, on the "Clan Af" site, but instead of Dl'ing index.php, It Dl's me Download1.php and then does the same thing. HELP

It died out because 1. you yourself wasn't responding to it and 2. you couldn't give us any computer information.
What OS do you have? What browser + version are you using? Are you using any download accelators?
Do you just left click on the download link or do you attempt to right click and select "save as"?
You're wrong because 1. I had a response up no one was responsing to, It wasn't my turn to respond (And I checked the forum everyday) 2. I didn't know any comp. info and I asked how to find out and no one would tell me.
I both left click and right click and hit save target even though I know I'm s'posed to do the right click ands neither work
Commanda_Panda,
Camanda_Panda@USEast
ADDITION: And, I don't know what OS and Browser and Version, That's why I asked about how to find out in my Original forum.
But I know I have a Downloads Accelerator, That's all
Have you tried completely disabling the download accelerator?
I use to have that problem. My IE cut out, and I had to use MSN. Whenever you go to dl, it always calls it index. You have to copy the name of the thing you're dling, then go to save as, and when you find the folder you awnt it in, paste the name and press save. To open it, don't press it in the downloads list, but through the My Computer heirarchy. Hopefully it should work right.
Isolated, Dunno how do disable it, Zerg me gonna go try dat thnx. I hope it works.....
ADDITION: didn't work, thnx for trying.
Umm, I don't know why no one responding anymore, the problem hasn't been fixed... someone respond pelase
Panda: you should try downloading another browser and trying it there. Like, if you use Internet Explorer for check the webpages download Opera or another one from google and try it there.
I don't know how to Download another broswer or how I could "try It there".
Please tell me how...
Commanda_Panda, to be blunt, we can barely do anything for you because of your rather weak computer knowledge.
Did you try renaming index.php to a real map name like Zerg said and then opening it?
I bet you don't have file extensions off though...
Isolated, If you read my addition you would see that I did try It and no, It didnt work. BeeR, I'm gonna try that thnx.
ADDITION: Thnx every1 who tried to help, I downloaded FireFox, It worked.
I guess now this is gonna be deleted..
I'll miss this forum.
Good to hear everything worked well Panda.
Seems like it was IE(or whateevr browser you used), that changed some aspects of the files while it was downloaded.
Go and start downloading maps from the DLDB.
By the way, how do you add a shortcut of FireFox to the desktop like the Internet Explorer shortcut is, I can only find out how to put the instalation icon on the desktop...
Alright go to the folder where you installed Firefox and then lef click on the Firefox.exe , after that you can click create shorcut and move the shortcut to the desktop. TO make it look like it's not a shortcut you can rename the shortcut.
lol me just found out how, sorry to waiste ur time, thnx for all the help BeeR. okay, Im not replying anymore. Seriously...
Don't restrain yourself on asking for help, thats why we are here.
^Thats a good quote I just came up with^
One more thing, how do I set where files are downloaded TO...?
