Earths natural resorces .. they are limited.. the way people on earh are burning and useing them we are going to run out some time.. then what?? will the human race be able to live without natural resorces or would alot of us die? would we be able to get a new sorce of of energy by that time..? and if so what would it be..? would it last us.. or would it kill the earth worse then we are now..? we only got 1 earth so let us keep it as long as we can.. cut back on natural resorces and find a better, more pure, and more clean way of energy.. But.. what if we ran out of natural resorces and we had to go to a different planet? would Mars be able to withstand are killing race ? if you think about it alot of the stuff we are doing is killing.. the trees that we log. the millions of aekrs we are buring to build houses on. the animals we kill to feed millions and millions of people a day. would we die like the dinoes..? maby they had better tecnolagy then we do and they died off the same way we might..? it is possible.. they died millions and millions of years ago. who knows maby we did not decover what they might of left behind. tehre bones we found But what if they had more..? we will never know...... Try to keep earth clean and healthy for we only have 1 and it has to last us.....

probably go to mars or something, the earth in business point of view would be "useless" because we do not have any natural resources, so it is bad for businesses who use it, but i am sure we will develop more efficient things that will take up very little or no natural resources

I wouldn't worry about it, there will be a new energy source, prolly in the form of solar energy, they are still some elements not discovered to their full potential, plus plasma is suffice energy source its jus that the government hasn't been able to find a way to properely use it without massive cons.
By cons I mean bad points, failures etc., etc.
Even if we don't, we wouldn't abonben Earth, by that i mean leave it behind for good, people would stay.. Probalby a Civil War would Erupt, amongst Humans, not a nation... Thats all any war has ever been.. Anyways.

Well some things have to be used. Some we cannot make ourselves so we rely on our earths natural resources. Like natural gas. (note the bold

Not to mention that most of the unrenewable resources in the world are deep down towards the mantle of the earth. NONE of these have even been tapped, just the smaller pockets closest to the surface have even been breached. It will be a long time before humans run on only solar power

Its nine months with current technology. If you get ships arriving 2-4 times a week you would be looking pretty good.

It would still be using Earth's resources... Also, one word for your phlemhacker, Capitols. Use them more often... They are your friend. Without them, it is extremely hard to read.

Right now, many of earth's resources are FAR from scarce. People keep whining about how our earth is running out of oil. Cmon guys, there's still plenty of oil everywhere on earth; just that the united states is too lazy to dig up it's own oil from it's own land.
And you say the dinosaurs had better technology than we did?!? Cmon, i dont think they had machine guns, electicity, houses, computers, tvs, or anything technical. The human race is the most advanced species in the entire universe (unless there are soem aliens somewhere which i doubt there are). What makes us even more special is that we have written language. No other living being has the capability of writing languages on a sheet of paper.
They say that the dinosaurs died because of a huge asteroid. They just found real proof of it like some months ago. There's this huge asteroid crater in the middle of the carribean sea and they dug up some dirty and found that one of the layers was black and filled with ashes meaning an asteroid did come in contact with earth at the point dinosaurs walked the earth.

As some people have said, We have a LONG time before Earths resources run out.
By the time something like that happens we'll probably have Ion engines (Yes, we actually have ion engines NOW) that can get people to mars in days. With that should come teraforming tech. that makes mars suitable for human inhabitation. With 2 planets resources and such we could set up an intergalactic empire! As many people have said, The stars' the limits!

Hey Halo Ions cannot push you any faster at the current engine type than 1/50th of a pound of thrust. You would need a HUGE engine just to get 1 pound of it. That's the only way you could get it faster, but the good thing is with an ion drive engine you could go for a long time without refueling and during that time you are constantly accelerating. Yes ion engines cant get you very fast quickly, it would take forever for you to get to 50 mph, the only reason we consider them is because (which I know you said) they dont run out of feul. And people who speak english don't call it Terra or Luna (unless for some strange reason you speak old english

Uhh no the people who speak english named it Terra and named the moon Luna. People started calling Terra, Earth because thats a fancy way to say soil which is what we stand on. Back then that was though that was all that you were standing on. Luna is the official name for our moon but since we only have one it started going towards the name "the moon".
