I was looking for a map in the database, and my search results came up, the file I was looking for was not in first page, so I go to the next and it is not in alphabetical order and was showing file types I was not in my initial search, is this a bug or did I do something wrong?

No it is not a bug as far as I know.
You probably entered the name of a map and didn't put in the author therefore a blank author is Not Available and it will show all files in which the author is Not Available.
Try putting in both the map name and the author. It worked for me.
If you don't know the author then search for it manually by scrolling through the category, it doesn't take that long.

OK, But the first page is alphabetical and at 100 finds per page like I set it, but when I choose the next page it goes back down to 20 and is not in alphabetical order. Is that a bug?

Yeah, I just tested and that really is a bug.
Anyways you may be wonder why I didn't find it since I work in DLDB a whole lot of the time and it's because Administration has a different search which is not bugged up.
