My name is -BW-Map_God, I've played SC/BW for over seven years now(well SC anyways, BW not quite 7 years). I got Starcraft in 1997 and have been hooked ever since even keeping my -BW-Map_God account active on b.net since forever(when I registered it almost 7 years ago). Starcraft's Melee genre did get old after a bit but the map editor and UMS Maps have kept me going on the game...indefinetly so far :-). Something about the unlimited possibilities of making games within a game on the map editor
.
I have a bad habit of starting maps and not finishing them however I have some completed ones(won't bore ya'll listing'em all here) most notably (7) Fall of Rome 1.07(took like 11 versions
) which I made from scratch. It's creation(and popularity for a time) gave rise to Fall of Rome 2 and Fall of Rome 3 as well as causing people to start making Rise of Rome maps. Anyways that was year's ago, mostly recently I perfected (7) CivilizationWorld 7.2. It was Civilization World 6.3 when I downloaded it during my recent Christmas Break. Like all civilization maps I loved it, however, it was buggy as heck and victory conditions weren't even on it
, or defeat ones for that matter. So I read the thousands of triggers through 4-5 times and fixed everything as well as added to it until I hit the locations/strings maxes, I'll be putting the map on the site soon if anyone wants it, it's alotta fun playing mplayer on b.net with. I use US West server btw, look me up at -BW-Map_God for a good UMS game.
I currently have over 2.5k UMS Maps(mostly good ones, I delete the really crappy ones from my HD) on my computer gathered over seven years of playing. I also have over 28 Mods/TC's for starcraft, many of which you can hardly find anywhere else nowadays
. I also have collected over 20 VERY GOOD campaigns, some of which the sites for have gone down, anyways I guess that's it about me. Oh yea, I'm currently a freshman in college and play tons of starcraft when I'm on break from my semesters
. Sadly during the semester though devoution from my studies keeps me from playing too much
.
There now you know me, sorta
