Bottom of the page, theres a dropdown box saying "Moderator Options".

Yes I can unlock my own topics. So can you. It's a little drop down bar that says "Moderation options" or it could be blank too. You can lock AND delete your own topics.

Opps, I see it now... Could it be changed so it as obvious as the "fast reply" button is?

No... see, we have 9 moderator options, thus, the drop down menu is nice. There are already too many buttons as is, more would just add to the clutter.

Plus, it's not like you'd be constantly using those options, so, it should be okay for you that they'll be out of the way.
