Path of Conflict
Simple 4 player melee map

Just wondering if anyone wanted to play it and see how balanced (and fun in terms of melee) it is. w00t.gif

Suggestions welcome!

EDIT: Updated map!

It's pretty good but you might want to add another set of bridges in every path. It makes things very hard when a Terran player sieges a single bridge, but it makes it a little easier when he has to cover 2 spots at once.

Close to the center or near the islands?

EDIT: If I add a bridge too close to the other it becomes basicly 1 bridge with siege tanks because of their range.

Not really because it increases the area of attack for enemies thus making it twice as easy to get in.

You might also want to work on the positioning and amount of minerals in the min only by the players main bases. If you notice from the top, the players main bases are much closer to the min onlies. And with only 5 patches there, it's not a whole lot more motivating than the one in the center, though I know Toss would gladly take it.

So you saying I should increase or decrese the amount of minerals by the players main bases or the ones in the middle?

I have been thinking about increasing the minerals in the middle bases to the same amount that is on the island but I am not sure.

I was thinking either increase the minerals patches by 1 in the center and 2 in the min only or just increase the min only by 1.

I think I will increase the mineral patches in the center.
