Introduction
500 Years ago there was a Great War of a Powerful Psi Stricken Race, Known as Telerians. The Two forces of Suntar and Monlocke fought a great war. Though both forces are telerians they are divided by their appearance and physical traits. The war was nothing More then a plot to Kill off both Leaders of the two forces. Yet this was not known until the war was over. The war ended in victory for the Suntar Thanks to our Hero Garum
The High Telerian Guardsman. He Himself Slayed the Monarch of the Monlocke. Though now he sees His Efforts were manipulated he continues on his extensive life never giving up hope as to attain for his wrongdoings.

Now, 500 years Later, a strange threat has Plagued the City of Narg, The Lord of Suntar Commands Garum to Take care of whatever the Problem May be, but will he be enough(Mission Brief)

The Heroes

*Besides the Main Hero you can pick between three other heroes that Each have their own Unique Skills and Abilities.
*The Heroes are from the City you shall be venturing forth to.
*They Include a Spell Caster, a Pyromancer, and a Psi Warrior

Gameplay

The Beginning of the Game shall be very strait forwaRd as most rpgs, very non cinematic and slightly unappealing, but the gameplay soon picks up with cutscenes, missions , and a load of Leveling up to be done.

Players must Excercise the use of TEAMWORK , I don't use this loosely, you can't even get past the very beginning if you keep splitting up.

Over 10 different Settings Each which are eventually Revisitable, and contain many nice treasures

Immense Storyline spanning over unique Psionic Realm where transport is restricted to Transponders that will teleport you out from different areas of the game.

Thrilling Spells and Puzzles that will Hinder the Players very Staggering Mind(You can also Level up spells as your level increases.)

Boss fights that will Leave you Pondering at the question"How the  censored.gif  do i Beat this guy!!! ranting.gif "

Boss Techniques and Spells that will require your teamwork to escape from sudden death.

Revives after Each Scene in the game, but not for the main player cry.gif

Cutscenes and Short Cinematics that will Stun and Amaze you!

WEll I never thought I'd actually start the PDF Series maps but this really ought to be quite intresting.
Basically the Whole Game Goes in Acts and Scenes, an Act is a set of scenes and a scene is one part in the story.Hince why the name is chronicles, a story is being told. And the main character really needs to be an intelligent person because if he dies, you all lose, and there will be scenes while he is the only one playing.
I made all the Boss the fights Unique(Note the Hydra is not a boss)
and i tried very hard to make the storyline intruiging and the settings pretty entertaining. The Terrain so far is basic and i think for part#1 of the pdf series should stay basic sc terrain, but under high demand that can be changed. The Spells are pretty different if you were to ask me, i think i made them quite unique and different from most rpgs out there, good or bad.
Of Course Leveling up helps, and ur hp will increase, but let's hope u can cope with that.
Basically that's all i have to Comment about... If you guys want any more information on the First map, post it, I'd love to hear suggestions. Thanks for simply reading my post.

Introduction

It's been 10 Days since our Hero Garum has Disappeared....
A new realm, a new group of Heroes, a group of young men....
The fate of the world rests with them.

3 Young Men- Dareon, Hiro Thorndust. and Zeus(ZE-Us) Fornright have all been at a place known as Seton Hall Academy for training Mercenaries and Negotiators in the Middle of The Barrens(a Blue shaded Desert). Each With their Own story, they're both asked to embark early in the morning to Check out the disturbances in a near By Cave.  After Exploring the cave they run across a strange String of Large Arachnids, They Make Their Way to the Back of the Cave where they Encounter None other, then one of Garums Worst Enemies...

Embark on a new Quest, and Discover what is so important about these 3 young men, and what has happened to our fabled hero "Garum".
Explore Immense Plains, dangerous Caverns, Towns, and more.

This Stage of the Game Focuses Highly the creative storyline twists and the very wondrous feeling of, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE LAST HERO.
The Game Spands over an overwhelming constantly moonlit crusty dried desert with many strange happenings everywhere you go.

As Mercenaries, you are of course paid for Jobs you accomplish, and yes this Game will have spells, don't dispair when you play the demo.

Very Extensive Item System, with more then Half of everything you do in the Game relying on you inventory.

Revive your Friends at your resting Facility and head back in to the wilderness and adventure onward dude!

Fight a Whole new strain of Beastly Like enemies, and new foes worse then demonic Fiends....

Use your Teamwork skills like in the last Map to Survive the Immense Overwhelming enemy threat and the pack load strength of boss enemies.

Experience Party Battle system where the Party Groups up and Fights Enemies in an inclosed Space.

Find the truth of what happened to Garum, and uncover the truth of the fiendish plots of the Bosses of the First PDF Map.

To Tell the truth this was started long ago, then left alone for computer bustage reasons mad.gif . But i do like the atmosphere this map puts you in, i have yet to get a negative response from this map, except from one noob who said"Where;s my command center at  disgust.gif "
I made this Map have Revives for all players, and can be done at anytime by simply traveling to the revive area. This game also has a cash system and you can use cash to buy items, Vehicles, and Destructive Mercs to serve you!
This Game also Goes through the role of acts, but not Scenes, so it shows you how much longer this map could end up being then that of the first map. I Hope you will all Enjoy this map as well and if there's any more Information you want me to post, Please tell me now!

Hmm...It was a pain reading all that and no pictures...Lol. I do enjoy screenshots but oh well. Personally I like your map#1 more than map#2 becuase..I just think the story goes over well with map #1 more. Its a good sounding Rpg. Good luck on it.

here's some things I would add: make a battle system so you dont just run around shooting creatures
add color to the text
get rid of the ugly claoking and other buttons the ghost will be using to make map look neater

Umm those are all basic comments like for noobs... but anyway to answer ur comments,
#1 Battle system:Real time combat, Need i say more?
#2Colored text: Don't just look at the screenshots dude, the game has plenty of color, his name is in blue for a reason
#3Ugly Cloacking buttons: Those are all upgradable and you dont get them at start, think before u make these kinds of comments.

nope... way off...just a coincidence in the abbreviated name....

However, for any of you wondering i will be releasing a Demo and Trailer for Chapter 1, Chronicles of Suntar.
The Trailer should be Ready for download sometime on the day 1/29/05
and the Demo sometime between 1/31/05 - 2/5/05

well, well, well what do we have here? I personally loved the perfect dark games, and they really added a lot of flavor to the shoot-em-up world. But, the problem is.. you need to give it more of a perfect dark feel, add more sprites using SF, and if you cant run it, pm me if you want me to have a go at it... if you dont have perfect dark either, you might want to rent one of he games to see what the mood an tone of the game is. Sounds would be really nice to add on too.

This is exactly the crap i posted on censored.gif ing uber rankage. Read the censored.gif ing post above yours torrasque this map has censored.gif to do with perfect Dark for n64. All you had to do was read before post. censored.gif .

on the good note, the Demo is done so i can show you all it, it'll be up there tomarrow, and yes, it's somewhat short compared to whole game.

P.S. I thought n64 perfect dark was crap compared to metal gear solid.

Just played the demo........Wow, i can't belive how well you captured the mood and tone, very easily i got immerseds and instanyl started to have fun... I started crying when the demo was over... It was sssooo much fun. When the full game comes out, i will not rest untill i beat it wink.gif. Words still cant describe how well this is made, and how fun it is smile.gif

Hello Again Everyone,
Things to say: I know it's weird to have some unknown map maker say he's making a series of maps that arn't even the same game type each time, most people think *"Yeah, sure you will finish it..." Well I just want to say i'm trying pretty hard to finish these maps, and they're group Projects, that's all for what i want to say...

Updates-
1)I realize the First Post is really Long and Very Unappealing to read, so I will be making different threads for each map as they are being produced (starting with 1, then when 1 is does i'll post 2's production thread, and so on...)

2)Demo Will be Updated with A First Boss and what not. I used a Pretty Unique Boss Battle, where he has 2 stages and unless you're completely a Noob, you probably wouldn't figure it out until you're going to die(no its not a spell).

3)Chapter 1 Chronicles of Suntar(a.k.a. Map #1) Is now at
74%[progress]74[/progress]
I estimate it to take about 3 hours to play if you're slow, maybe 2 if you're an advanced sc Gamer.

4)Special Ending!
-If you complete everything there is to do in the game(collect all items, spells, etc.)
The Game will have 2 Bonus Endings w00t.gif
1 will be a little more in depth for story, and the other will be well....
It's a secret meant to Please a Close Friend biggrin.gif
