If you recall a few days ago, we released a new feature called file backups which allows registered members to backup their maps to our server which it will be safe from stealing and so on until you want it again. One of the main complaints, was that 1mb was not enough.
Since then, the file backup link has been on and off, due to some bugs conserning files disappearing and so on. I took the liberty and fixed all of these bugs, and placed whatever you uploaded back into the same folder (so you didn't actually lose anything, it was just hidden
)
Now, the file backup system is totally integrated with your user account. So now you have as much space as your member level will provide.
Member = 5mb
Regular = 10mb
Elite = 20mb
Ah, but wait! Attachments are also calculated into this. So you must manage it accordingly. Attachment CP in your usercp now tells you how much space is being taken up by both, and what they add up to.

Nice job Yoshi, so the file back-up thing is back after all. It was a good idea to have it combined with the attachments space as well. I think I'll use this more then I originally thought, since I can now put maps with music in this, then open it at my Dad's house,

aww now I have less attachment space than before. Ah well it is better to be abel to keep files here and transport them and open them in other places. Good job.

Its your choice if you really want to use the global space for backups. Not uploading anything there will just give you zero which won't change your global space (I know some people prefer not to use it, and they by no means have to).

I miss my 2 extra megs of global space 
( 6:12:24 would be good)
Oh and, can we have other people download it? I have music and when I have people test it, I dont them to re-dl it every time
If so, are private / password protected subcategories possible? That'd be cool so that people i know can dl them, but others cant... (If ppl can browse them or whatnot)

I was hoping for a public (Can give out the file to dl) subcategory so that every little detail i fix i can just upload so its not a big dl on bnet... (I'm working with songs in my map)
