I think in about 50 years, the United States will begin it's slow collapse and bring down the earth as well... It said somewhere that we were the most wasteful country in the world. We waste lots of our resources for electricity, travel, paper, etc. Even food. It's unbelievable to see how many people in my school throw away literally untouched food which could've fed a starving child somewhere in africa. We're so spoiled! And especially based on our Situation with foreign affairs (like iraq) i don't see any improvement...

I think that the standard of living in America will decrease and we will lose our status as leader in technology and quality of life. China will overtake us relatively soon, as long as they can somehow manage to control their population.

Quality of life is going to go down I think. The repair business is going to hell; people are figuring out it's easier to buy a new car/tv/telephone every so many years than getting it fixed. We don't export enough to base our economy souly on that...

Canada will become a bigger part of the world economy, and thus, we will merge with the USAs to make the United Nations of Canada.

That'd be ideal. No?


We still have to see USA go to war against Korea and Lybia first anyway...

Actually, they say that in the near future, mexicans will be the majority in the United states. It would kind of make sense if we just compare some mexican families with white families. White people usually have like 1-3 children and some couples dont even want kids. Many Mexicans have about 3-5 kids per household!


I highly doubt that -_-. And yes i do believe the United States and Canada should merge. That would be the so uberest thing of all!

Well, the United State's economy, technology, finances, resources, and # of people can merge with Canadas. With Canada's resources, it can bring both of us to literally the top of the world and be the super duper powerfullest country of the world.

But yes, since The United States and Canada are so close to each other and our cultures are pretty much almost the same, we can get along together and become the best.

But... the thing that makes Canada so awesome is the fact that it dosen't have our government. Merging wouldn't make America better, it would only make Canada suck.

Merging wont be a good thing. Then you will have to chose the currency and all the difference. Like the metric system or imperial system. Spell words like colour or color. Prime minister or president. Province and states and terretories. Those are just the minior and/or medium problems.

Anyways, the race of human will go extinct soon. Live life to the fullest.

Ok, maybe not merge, but make an even deeper closer relationship with each other. We do have a good relationship, but just not good enough and should be brought to the next level (like by getting the canadians to stop hating us)

The U.S won't change much. Every child ages 7+ will have a cell phone, a t.v. in their room, a computer in their room, be spoiled. There will be a) really really rich ppl and b) the really poor peoples. Mexico will take over and instead of being a white country it will become Mexicanized. The gov't will be in debt and then China/Japan/ and Korea will come and destroy all and make peace with Canada. Then Canada will take over U.S lands and become one super-continent full of SC players, nature lovers, and guys in red suits. Any questions?

If the ~60 million Americans in a stupid trance snap out of it and get a good leader, we will be on top of the world. Otherwise the US will be in terrible shape.

What Iraq needs right now are peacekeepers. Canadians > Americans in intelligence. America > Canada everywhere else. You know, instead of funding for new weapons, we could just liberate 150,000 AK-47s from any city in Iraq. Hell, there's probably enough ammo in Iraq to shoot every person on the Earth several times.
