Staredit Network -> StarForge -> Corrupted Sounds?

Yeah, I still see its a problem. It'd be super nice to have that back.

Importing the sounds with starforge makes them not show up in Xtra editor, and importing in xtra makes the strings go screwy and xtra gives save errors.

I hated this error so bad.. I first discovered it when I was working on terrain for one of my maps.. I saved it and went back into SCXE and it wouldn't save, I learned to make extra copies of it now.. :P

I did have extra copies but they were way back when i was about 10% done.. I just got bored of saving twice

Its annoying when you import your sounds to your map, and you want to use starforge to make edits, but you cant because of corruption (and if you delete the sounds, you got unused strings).

I haven't really devised a good workaround for this yet. To be honest, I haven't really received enough consistent reports to determine what the problem is. You're always encouraged to send any and all maps you have problems with to starforge_feedback@hotmail.com.

Not every mapper uses sounds within their maps.

Plus, it doesn't happen randomly. It only happens when you import sounds through xtra, open and save through SF, go back to Xtra and save.

what it is annoying too, is when u add MPQs sounds in ur map (only string) each time u reget on the sound options, the strings duplicate virtually (why virtually because real strings dont duplicate, but sounds options shows duplicated)
