Everyone post something you think is unfair on SEN. Meh, that isn't the right word to say. I now understand how anger makes you look bad. You are perfectly calm and cool in your head. But it is impossible to tell people how you feel without being offensive. It's actually impossible. I, right now, am thinking normally. But reading over the post from even this point makes it seem as if I am enraged. While I am only angry.

But meh. No need to state why I'm so angry. Very biased and unimportant.

Since this is a feedback forum, lets make this a thread where you think something is ..unfair.. (Again I can't think of a better word)...Not unfair...>_<... Not right... on SEN. Something that should be removed. Such as my fading.


I personally think that the "Beginner, Advanced, etc." Should be taked out or chagned. As it says in the map making assistance forum, it's what type of help you need.
Beginner: Pre-place a marine for player 1. Go to Player one -> Terran -> Ground Units -> Marine.
Average: Pre-place a marine for player 1.
Advanced: Place a marine.
Uber: You know what I'm thinking.

well the only thing that kinda pisses me off is the warn level iv had this damn thing at 25% for like a month now but thats about the only thing

I've had my 25% for a couple months now. It stays there, forever. Until you do something VERY helpful to the moderators/admins.

I've been considering to remove that, because no one enters it fairly anyway. I might make it a user voted thing, where your map skill level depends on what other people think depending on your posts and maps.

Maybe the DLDB keepers (Two whole people + Mods/Admin) can rate users. Or else that's what'll happen.

The DLDB keepers have enough to do. I'm not making them do more work just because people need to fake their mapping skill.

Then we can't do much to that feature. Except take it out, or leave it. Maybe a poll?

However, Rexy, you're fading colors is one thing that sometimes annoys me when looking through logs. Anything you've colorized looks like jibberish. It also takes up like 20x more sql space for every post/shout/whatever. However, unlike the things that you think are unfair, I can change it if provoked .

Yoshi, you need to fix your quote trimming code thingy... it cuts out really early if any bbcode is used... which especially applies to Rexy's quotes. Quote one url and your quote limit is practically over.

Only one thing... Yoshi is having the IP ban easy this time...

Rexy's little color script isn't a part of the forums and was never supposed to be used in the first place. I might try to phrase links and remove font bb tags though.

apache logs dont cache post data, so what logs are meant?

I only have one question. I'm not sure if it was stated before or not, but do the tags count towards the number of characters in a post?

No. Or else I'd be filthy rich, and I wouldn't be allowed to use this after I hit 500 minerals in 30 posts.

And half the reason I love fading is that it's hard to edit my posts etc..
(i.e. looking at logs)

But I don't want to make it hard on administrton. Gimme the word and I'll not fade anymore.

Just don't give me a reason to look through your logs and it'll delay the code to kill it .
A 100 character count : 1 use of bbcode color would probably be alright.
