Due to the fact that everyone is whining about a little counter, I've decided to hide it to stop complains. Now you will no longer know what your warn level is, and the item to view it in the store has been deleted. In other words, it will be used for administrators only. It will be increased without your knowledge (we will verbally warn you via PM/Email what you did, and we will not tell you what your warn level is).

It will be used for reference to see if you've been bad or good when it reaches 100%.

By the way, it is no longer 4 strikes either. You will not know how many strikes you have, because there is no need for you to know. You shouldn't be doing bad things anyway, so no complaints, deal with it.

You shouldn't have the need to check your warn level. I'm sure you're all going to be fine upstanding members and will be confident that your warn level will never be raised.

This is most likley becuase of my thread about things on SEN users don't like. That was a horrible idea, sorry I thought of it. It was meant for discussion, not whining.

If we cannot see our warn level..can we, at least, see it when we get our PM stating it was increased? Thank you.

We've never banned anyone for a 100% warn level. We've only suspended.

I think hiding the warn level will generally be more annoying because if you warn someone, you have to verbally warn them as well. We'll also probably get members begging to know if that verbal was a warn or not.

Warn level could actually be deleted entirely and we could use a "member's notes" mod, heavily modified (meaning I'd just use the mod as reference), to do the same thing. Banning a member from the shoutbox would automatically place an entry in these member's notes.

And then, you can also input your own notes...

It'll be integrated with everything. I've made a post speaking of this already in the staff forum.

Instead of a warn-o-meter, there could be a simple counter ~ 'Staff Notes: 6'.

However, the warn-o-meter is a nice quick visible, variable method... so deleting it entirely isn't something I'm necessarily suggesting.

It's up to you completely, I don't care either way. And I eventually plan on doing that member's notes thing either way...
I just think if I was a member, viewing the warn level would be beneficial to me as a member in various ways.

Either way, people overreact way too much about such a simple thing that is supposed to give them chances, which is why we cannot have it.

Then let them overreact, and let them end up being banned.

By doing this, if ever you something, that should get a warn level, but since you didn't know it was wrong, and you didn't know you got warned, then you do it again, and you'll never know until you reach 100%.

And people who overreact are just stupid, it's just a little warning on a website, if you're really mad, go to another website.

How about people stop being idiots and dont spam / abuse this website? Oh wait, that's to much to ask of 11 years olds. I think we need less warn levels and more ip banning. Dont warn, just ban.

Ban for 24 hours. Can't complain you were not warned, by entering this forum, the administration takes it as you read the whole rules and FAQ and you know how to behave against other people, you don't need to warn people for these kind of things.

I took both my warns like a man, although i dont really diserve either of em, but thats not the point. Ive always like the idea of the warn level, and if they cry like that they shouldnt be around

BTW: After my first warn I pmed Bolt telling him what happened, but i did not ask to have my warn level remoed
