I'm not exactly sure what the potential of this could be (mabye computer played characters in RPGs). It doesn't require to many triggers, only that the units be preplaced.
This is pretty simple, he will only heal himself, buy potions and run away from enemies when needed.
That looked like nothing but the mere "send units on strategic suicide missions" AI Script
Plus, mine got stuck going back and forth.
That was really pointless, and Is NOT A concept
Did you even watch him for a bit?
He got stuck going back and forth

It didn't get stuck for me...
This was a lot more then 'send units on strategic suicide missions' if you watched carefully, he healed whenever he got below 50 health (how would an AI script that came with starcraft know to go to a nexus??), whenever he had over 5 minerals he would buy a potion and use it in battle instead of healing if he was below 20 (I think it's 20) health, and he also runs if there are too many enemies around him (even if he has high health still).
This is pretty useful for one unit, but not very practical to use for more than one unit, because this was rather basic and if it were more complicated and for multiple units, it could take a lot more triggers.
Thats why i said for main characters in an RPG (if there isn't a full house or if a player leaves) So that they don't lose a character.
Wow... That was some nice work in there... I really think that this map is more than just that simple AI script...
Shorty i think you ought to stop criticizing people posts. If they post it in this forum then they believe it is a concept. Even though you may not believe so, your opinions are not authority, what you think is not always right. If you think it's not a concept take it up with a Mod and stop being an ass to people.
Hmm, 27 triggers in all for P7. Could be less. However, it is not a common system. Good job.
You planning on making a map out of this Vibrator? This would be something that I would think people have never seen before... You could make an RPG that where if you don't have a second player or something like that in the game then you can choose to have a NPC (we can call him this if you want...) by your side to help you out.
thats awsome! that could make an awsome RPG

The map itself is basically an RPG... just used completely by computers... So that makes the map awsome...No I'm not planning on making an entire map out of this (mabye expanding the AI ability a bit more). I haven't had the time or the patience to make an entire map in a long time. But if you feel like it go ahead and use it.
I know I couldn't copy those triggers into my own map... Plus this is your work, not mine.
This is pretty cool. I watched this and i think it would be very useful for RPG maps. Could be nice with some ally computers fighting agianst evil too and they buy potions and so on.
