I'm sure most of us are aware of the "ultimate glitch". This was where a peon could carry anything. There were stable and unstable units. One of the unstable units was a medic. When carried, it turned into a warpfield. Out of a friend's suggestion (Red2Blue), I loaded the probe with the warp field into a overlord. This created a rock sprite. Then I unloaded the probe. The first time this happened the animation of the flash from when the warp field turning into a crystalized building appeared and repeated, but I moved the probe, causes the game to crash. The other attempts to repeat this process resulted in crashes. So what about the other units, both stable and unstable? Do they create different sprites and animations when loaded/unloaded?

There's hardly any effect with stable units. Not even a rock sprite.

As stated, it cannot be hallucinated, so you can't pick it up.

Powerup glitches are old. Try Gaurdians, Devourers, and infested kerrigan.

Hallucinate a vespene orb.

Have an probe pick one of them up.

Wait until the other dissapears.

Build or Create 3-4 units of the same type.

Kill the probe.

Bring another SCV and pick up the glitched powerup.

That's how you do it.

Give me a list of Images.dat entries and I will have the list for you.

Start Location = Recall, but good luck picking it up tongue.gif
Try scanner sweep, then you wont need to play with that damned medic.

AHA! this is so interesting i might start testing this out, if i like it ill make a list tongue.gif

ADDITION:
HMM...i like this, yes im going to complete list making testing of all units effects (unless someone do it first) im gonna start later now i g2g, bwt farty gave me an idea with his scanner sweep i thought since scanner sweep is considered a unit its also dark swarm and the subunits built on the units like scarabs, spider mines and interceptors
dark swarm = crashes when probe killed
spider mine = same thing and you cannot pick up
scarab = a scarab appears but you cannot pick up (scarabs in game w00t.gif )
interceptors = appears in game and alone and when you pick it up it turns in to a siege tank without turret and the shadow is moved tongue.gif so damm cool

ADDITION:
does interceptor normally recovers health? because i killed the probe with psionic storm and it hurt the interceptor too when i clicked it it was recovering health like 5health per second even faster than zergs smile.gif

Hmm, how would you go about performing the ultimate glitch on those units?

Lol? what do you mean?

Like, do you move units like scanner sweep, dark swarm, intercepter, etc.?

Dude, I could make the list in no time at all. I am just too lazy to go through the images.dat entries to say what makes what. tongue.gif (I just need the names of the images.dat things. E.g.: Images.dat ID#391 is Recall, unless you want to look them up yourself tongue.gif)

Simple Just Create them...If its dark Swarm have a defiler to cast dark swarm and done...
I'm going to see the images.dat entries that farty is talking about that might reduce the amount of time taken, brb.
