Would it be possible to make movie themed maps like lets say for example halo or LOTR And use pics of other chars as the icons for a marine or a zergling or whatev like you could make the zergs orcs the terren huaman (they already are but change icons) the protoss elvs. Just an idea wondering if it could be made.

ADDITION:
I use to play warcraft and saw this there and was wondering if this could work for SC

It is possible. Your first option is to patch down to a point where EUD Actions worked and make a map with EUDs.
Option two is to make a mod. Go look into the modding forum for that.
Option three is to mod a map. You make a mod and use SCMLoader to put it in a map. Then run the other SCMLoader and play your map.

both points that yeh course you could make it but make it well as most fans could get pissed off if ya make it crape but i trust you hopefully..

I didnt think this was possible, because, how would Blizzard know to make the graphics just for the map, you would have to contact them and see if they could make the update. Well this sounds nearly impossible to me unless you are a professional at making modifications to maps.
