Is it or is it not a good time to be alive on this planet?

for me, i think we all got it lucky. living 100 years ago, we'd have all this work to do and we'd struggle to stay alive. you'd have to farm and do a lot of physial stuff. in the future, we'll be out of gasoline, and the earth will be at it's end.

so what do you think? is it better to be alive now, in the past or future?

I say it is a good time to be alive because of all the technology and luxuries we have today. In the future there might be even better delicacies but with how things are going right now in world politics, we might've already run off a cliff.

I'm undecided. On the positive side, we have a lot of technology and all that. On the negative side, in 20 years or so we're going to be really down on a lot of resources. Sooo... undecided.

Yea, resources and stuff are a big problem. But for me, I'm more worried about politics and stuff and what's going to happen to world diplomacy.

I just hope that humans manage to successfully travel and live on other planets before (and if) a large nuclear war comes. Bye bye earth.. Don't really have a lot of faith in the government leaders these days :/.

To be able to live in space or on other planets or something is going to require TONS of resources and money. We're going to need so much money and time to do this. And considering how much of a debt we're in, I doubt we'll ever reach this stage in time.

Or China and India might beat us to it.

I wasn't talking about America. Oh, we're screwed (kidding.. sort of). I just hope another Hitler kind of guy doesn't rise soon. If someone like that starts to rise up, I'm going to really start hoping America hasn't abandoned its 'I fix all. I rock' ways. If a country with real resources decided to try to rule the world, the whole world earth is probably screwed.

I wouldve been born on 1950.. Cuz well then thered be alot more ppl who like the music that I do lmfao..

But that's when Elvis Presley was alive. You wouldn't be able to get any girls back then.

Oh yes, and not to mention that you'll miss out on all the hot clothing women are getting today ;P

I wish I was born 10 years earlier, but yeah, generally speaking I'm lucky. I won't die at the age of 35, I have a lot of luxeries, and kids are doing less and less in this generation

And yeah, for all I know, 100 years this planet could be gone.

it would be a good time to be alive today, everyone has their struggles and problems during their lifetimes, so deal with it...we can die anytime, but there's no fun in that...

but, wish we could be born where it was the most luxurious and maybe somewhere without no war in the future, but i guess i'm just going over my head a bit. would like to see a changed world society though...such as fighting for world problems instead of each other and blowing up humanity everywhere...

Actually, hasn't suicide been around since...God knows when?

Anyway, I think that it's a fine time to be alive.

We have indoor plumbing ; ).

But I think that everything's relative, we'd all be happy if we were born years ago, or in the future, because since path X is the way we were raised, we can't compare it to path Y.

Anyway, I might choose the future, depending on what it is, but I think that right now is an alright time.

Better than having to take a shiz in a hole.

i think its good that our medcine is so developed. we are almost able to save any one from death. thats great. 100 years ago, medcine was very low. it wsyou hoped you didn't get sick

Born in 1950 MA.. Not living in the time as an adult.... The 70's I could tolerate but not lower

I don't really think we can complain. It isn't liked we picked now to be alive. Any time is a good time to be alive.

Yes it is a good time to be alive. But if you really think about it, every time is a good time to be alive. Because the future isnt here, you dont know what ypur missing! It is always the best time to be alive, but I am very happy that we have computers right now, ifnot i would die!
