Break-it-down-hooked-on-phonics-style time!
Step #1 : Select your local starcraft patch version (current version = 1.14)
Step #2 : Enter in the hex data of your choice (requires memory searcher)
Step #3 : Use your eyes to read the information you need (deaths, player, etc.)

Server errors are the server's problem, not mine.

I didn't say it was your problem, did I? I'm just saying at least this one works. tongue.gif

Now to upload all the data files so I can access them and create an online version of Ube2's EUD editor.

Since you asked: YES. There is a change in the Unit Table. The size and position of several items is changed. And No, I don't have those yet.

I wasn't just asking about the 'unit table' I was asking about the memory structure as a whole smile.gif I noticed small but odd changes, odd changes as in unlike the previous patches where they just move stuff around.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DiscipleOfAdun on 2006-08-15 at 19:49:11
Right. It's just the unit table is a large part of the memory. However, it seems there's more stuff in some cases, and less in others. Also, it appears things weren't just 'shifted' as before. This is probably the result of the new source build.(In other words, it appears the source code was changed in building 1.14

Sweet! smile.gif

So this is kinda like Memcalc? Or is this different? Im confused a little over this. closedeyes.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by LegacyWeapon on 2006-08-20 at 11:43:47
It basically does the same things. (U)beCalc has the latest v1.14 and other older versions of SC. MemCalc, I believe, is still calibrated to v1.13f.

MemCalc is getting screwed by the server, but MemCalc 5 has the raw converter for 1.14 now, even though the server is just a pile or crap. The old MemCalc is for 1.13f though.

It seems Blizzard has moved some things to behind the memory location of the death counts table. Make sure you are checking the correct version and have the correct memory location. If the "Offset from Deaths of P1 Marines:" is negative, there's nothing you can do.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2006-09-02 at 17:10:36
I highly doubt that's the right offset; it's a good ~0x0007000 below the table.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Doodle77(MM) on 2006-09-02 at 23:55:13
Whatever, there were other offsets containing the same value, and yes, that is a valid offset, its just behind the unit table.

Can't we use one of the other systems that might potentially be further back in the memory table? I believe Extended Alliance Status values were ones that could have been used for a similar effect, although I'm guessing Alliance Status can't really set or check a particular value other than 0 or 1... (tbh, I forget the others, but there were a few... Looking through the condition list, "Kills" also looks like something that can be used...)
