Basically this system is an ugly version to detect how much power you want to give something, and possibly what direction. The drawback, it only works for playing in single player mode.
There is a unit (lets say a ghost) set in the middle of a spread of burrowed units. Utilizing the center screen function in one player, you center the cursor (and the screen) over the ghost constantly. Then they try to attack the farthest unit away from the ghost, while maintaining accuracy.
This would be fun for a golf map or something, but has no real use due to multiplayer non-functionality.
So you mean you have a certain amount of time to move your mouse before its drawed back with the center view? That could work but the ghost's range wouldn't be long enough for golf.
Maybe it could me some kind of speeded zergling on drugs that run back and forth on a place, and then it adds certain time for how long the golf ball is flying.
How do you use triggers to move the cursor?

I tried that. It doesn't move my cursor.

For me it only moves my cursor off b.net... so if you tested that on b.net, that is probably why it won't work.
he did say it only works in single player...
Can't you just click the minimap?

You need EUDs to move the cursor around, The center view only moves it to the middle of the screen.
Rantent, kind of a lame idea, but it'd make a cool concept map.
Oh ya, and ignore ^ certain people ^ who have no idea what they're talking about.
You could just use a trigger to cause a unit to move back and forth quickly in a "Power Bar" and another trigger to act as the "Button Press" to select the power. This will work in Multiplayer too.
hmm this is actually a pretty cool idea I dont think its lame
someone should go make a golf map using PCFredZ's idea it sounds cool
