Having failed in the purpose of my post in the editing section, I decided to bring this here. I am working on a tool that will automate most (if not all) triggers that go into defense maps.

I have reached a section on which I am running short on ideas. What I am needing is 'unique' bunkers that use as few locations as possible. They have to be similar to marine,ghost and firebat bunkers. That is, you build a supply depot and you get a marine bunker...so on and so forth. So far, here are my only ideas....

CODE

Supply Depots = Marine Bunkers
Academies = Firebat Bunkers
Armories = Ghost Bunkers
Sheild Batteries = Lurker


The ideas I need must make the unit/buildings immobile and require as few locations as possible (players need to be able to build more than one of these bunkers). Hell, the ideas can be as simply as replacing a building with a unit that can attack but can not move. Please, the more help I get with these ideas the better my tool will be.

-EDIT- If your idea is 'advanced' please show an example trigger of how it will work.

Simple, disable the units you don't want to move, tanks can still attack when disabled, and so can other units. This is how you disable: Tutorial

Well there is only one problem with that. There used to be a list of units that would crash the game if disabled. However, I can't seem to find it anymore. Does anyone know if the list changed at all or where the post is that was made about it?

You can still disable tanks, cannons, bunkers, etc. without crashing.

dont disable!! Create a location off the map, then constantly move that unit to the location. This makes it so they cannot move at all and it works for every unit. Keep in mind they can still attack.

To create a location off the map with SCMDraft just resize the map bigger than what you want so say 256x300 create a location at that edge then resize it back to 256x256.

only some air units are able to move around, if u click fast enough...

You can also use starforge and simply create a location in the gray area.

I'm lookin for that list of crashable units also. All I know is that Archons crash. Also, you forgot about Sieged Arclite Tanks. They can't move if you take off the unsiege order.
